Using patterns to create gives my art of crochet what may seem like a repetitive and formulaitve nature, when in fact there is much creativity in the process. The fibers are chosen for their density, composition and dimension. The artist manipulates her tools with certain amounts of strength, dilligence and attention to arrive at the desired texture, lay and design of the fabric. Crochet allows the artist to create tangible, beautiful items that are not only practical, but very personal as well. I enjoy making these things for the ones that I care about in my life.
I currently reside in the Bronx where I attend SUNY Maritime in the hopes of becoming a licensed 3rd Mate in the Merchant Marine. My love/hate relationship with New York style inspires much of my work.
I'm also a photographer.

My boyfriend is a very talented technical artist of ships and weapons.
